Consultation Techniques
A 6-Month Advanced Mentorship with Turid Rugaas
Only 12 places available worldwide
Turid Rugaas has spent more than 50 years studying how dogs communicate. Her work — including the internationally recognised book On Talking Terms with Dogs: Calming Signals has changed how professionals around the world understand dog behaviour.
This is a rare opportunity to learn directly from her.
Not in a large group. Not through pre-recorded videos. But in an intimate, structured mentorship where you receive personal guidance, individual feedback, and direct access to one of the world’s most experienced voices in canine behaviour and consultation through bi-weekly group sessions on zoon and individual feeback on your mandatory assignments.
What This Program Is
This is an advanced group mentorship for dog professionals and knowledgeable dog enthusiasts who want to deepen their understanding of dog behaviour and develop their consultation skills at the highest level.
Over 6 months, you will work closely with Turid Rugaas through live group sessions, practical assignments, and written feedback — building a level of understanding that simply cannot be achieved through courses alone.
This is not for beginners. This is for people who are ready to go deeper.

Why This Program Is Unique
There are very few opportunities in the world to work this closely with Turid Rugaas. Her knowledge, her experience, and her ability to see what others miss is extraordinary — and increasingly rare.
With only 12 places available, this program will not be repeated frequently. If this is the right time for you — this is the opportunity.
Please note: Consultation Techniques is Turid Rugaas’s own course and is not part of the Nordic Dog Trainer Professional Certification program. It can be taken independently of any of our courses.
Nordic Dog Trainer is the organiser of this program. All teaching, sessions and assignment feedback are provided personally by Turid Rugaas herself.
